Square Nut and Split Pin

The square nut is located inside the Thruster on the end of the 60mm tension screw. The square nut is used to maintain the tension and thread position of the tension screw. The square but is secured in place with the small split pin. Riders should never loosen the tension so that it squeezes and/or breaks the split pin.
