Pivot Cup

The pivot cup is required to cushion the truck hanger against the truck base plate. Pivot cups can wear out due to the consistent rail-to-rail movement that riding a SmoothStar provides. Every new SmoothStar comes with a spare pivot cup. Riders should examine the condition of their pivot cups every few months to ensure the pivot cup hasn't worn away leaving bare metal.
