The Rising Sun

Standing at 6'2", the 31" Connor O'Leary model is a scaled down version of his 34" pro model board. SmoothStar inverted the graphic colours making it distinctly different to the model that was built around Connor surf stance. The 31" smaller size gives frothing groms and surfers of smaller heights the ability to ride Connor's model. The Connor O'Leary model also comes with medium wheels on the front and back.

Most popular questions for this model

What is the difference between the 31" Connor O'Leary and 31" Toledo

Apart from the outline shape of the board, there are almost no differences between these two model. They have the same wheelbase and the same wheel thickness. The both are suited to young teens to smaller height adults.

What is the difference between the 31" Johanne Defay and 31" Connor O'Leary?

The Johanne Defay model has concave and the Connor O'Leary is a flatter deck. A flatter deck generally feels faster but a deck with concave has more push and hold through turns. Concave decks feel really good when you ride with barefoot, just like surfing.

What's the design idea behind Connor O'Leary pro models?

Simplicity and cool colour combination. The board has an 'C' and 'O' which are Connor's initials. These letters are surrounded by The rising run which is symbolic of Connor's Japanese heritage.
